Thank you to everyone who participated in our 3rd annual cut-a-thon to "cut out" neuroblastoma. We raised $1400 this year and are so thankful to everyone who gave their time (stylists!) and donations (clients!). We would like to also thank Jennifer Mustachio who volunteered her time for the day performing fabulous cuts!

100% of all funds collected will go to The Band of Parents, a non-profit assembled by parents of children suffering from neuroblastoma. Neuroblastoma is an “orphan” cancer; pharmaceutical companies are not developing new treatments because there is not a large enough patient base to make development profitable. Funding from the government is similarly limited. Time is running out for many of these children -- money stands between them and a cure.

Below are some fast facts on how neuroblastoma affect our children:

• Each year about 600 children in the United States will develop neuroblastoma.
• Pediatric cancer is the #1 killer of our children in the United States.
• Only 3 - 5 million dollars is currently needed to make improvements on existing antibody therapies that can save childrens' lives who are affected with neuroblastoma.
