September 15, 2007: Around Christmas of 2006, Taylor's parents notied a minor bruise near one of her eyes and that the other eye did not "look right." Her parents made sure that the pediatrician and an ophthalmologist were consulted as quickly as possible. On January 3, 2007, Taylor began aggressive chemotherapy and has been fighting for her life ever since. On September 10, 2007, Taylor's dad and four other fathers with children fighting neuroblastoma set out to cycle 3700 miles across the United States from Sacramento, California to Washington, DC to raise awareness and money for cutting edge treatments that can be used to combat neuroblastoma.
